Audio Archive - Soundtracks
Hosted by Eddie and Glen. In my collecting I have acquired a goodly number of movie soundtracks, some are very average while others are great. I've bought some of the great ones along for tonight's show. The first half consists of songs from the soundtracks to the Return of the Living Dead and Repo Man, two great movies with excellent 80's punk music. For the second half I have got three New York crime flicks made by great soul musicians: Super Fly (Curtis Mayfield), Across 110th Street (Bobby Womack) and Together Brothers (Barry White & Love Unlimited). Some great tunes from some great films! Produced by Manawatū People's Radio with support from New Zealand On Air.
